Hotel Belvedere - Izola

The resort of Hotel Belvedere is located in the heart of the Slovenian coastline, near the street Izola-Portoroz. It offers a stunning view the bay Trieste and features a restaurant that offers varied menus.

Besides the restaurant offering a wide selection of dishes there are a lot of possibilities for entertainment (dance music on the terrace, the summer discotheque, night bar with the program open throughout the year) as well as for the recreation (tennis, table tennis, badminton, mini golf). Besides the swimming pools suitable for all needs and ages, the hotel also has a sea beach (600m) easily accessible by a picturesque walking path. For the hotel guests a shuttle bus transport is organized free of charge. The hotel complex features also a shop, souvenir shop, tabacco shop and its own parking lots. A possibility of taking part in organized coach and boat excursions round the surrounding area. There is also a camp site at the hotel complex.

The area has a Mediterranean climate, one can see many mountains. The area has a beautiful flora and fauna; many vineyards, olive yards, salt mines, and traditional villages can be visited.

Located: 6 kilometers from Koper 25 kilometers from Trieste 125 kilometers from Ljubljana Drive towards Izola, do not enter the city but drive around it and take the road towards Portoroz. After the hills you will see a crossroad. Take the first turn to the right and then follow the directions to the hotel.

The hotel restaurant offers both local food and various kinds of international Mediterranean dishes. The opening hours are from 11:00 till 22:00 (from May 1st till September 30th). Please be informed that the opening hours of the restaurant during the winter season depends upon availability.
