Furnished in original and authentic Slovenian style, our hotel is 10 minutes walk from the world-famous Postojna cave, set in the natural environment of a beautiful mountainous and lush landscape. Our hotel is situated within the highest city in Slovenia where the wind constantly recycles the fresh air. Such stunning scenery places you in an ideal position for exploring, with our quality rental bikes or on foot. With your enjoyment in mind, we can prepare a packed lunch so there is no need to disrupt your day of adventure. Our massage service or Finnish sauna will no doubt be a welcome indulgence on your return. Housing a grand, spacious lobby and bar, we also house cosy and colourful, simply decorated and contemporary accommodation which includes all you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Internet access is available free of charge in the lobby and in most of the rooms.

We have a congress centre with one main hall and a smaller conference room. Our tourist information point will help you to organise 2, 3, 5 and 7 day activities including cycling and trekking holidays. The cycle paths for all levels, beginners and families to advanced riders, run through MTB park Notranjska. The reception is open from 06:00 until 24:00. Please inform the hotel in advance if you intend to arrive outside these times.

Postojna town is located in the region of Notranjska, the land of Karst near the famous Postojna cave. In this area there are plenty of opportunities for walking, trekking, mountain biking, road cycling, caving, fishing, bird-watching, visiting fairy castles, discovering cultural heritage of villages and towns and, especially during summer, enjoying the cultural performances. The region, with unspoilt natural views and vast forests, is an hour’s drive from the capital city, Ljubljana and 45 minutes from the Slovenian coast.

By car: - From the motorway, head towards the city centre, pass by the bus station and one crossing. - After 70 -100 metres you will see hotel on your right. The train station is located on the same street as the hotel (Kolodvorska 1), just a 3 minute walk away. Simply walk towards the city centre and you will see the hotel on your right. If you arrive by bus you should go towards the city centre using the main road along which you came into Postojna (Ljubljanska street); continue straight ahead in the direction of Ljubljana, pass the crossing and after 70 -100 metres the hotel will be on your right.

The hotel has a bar and serves breakfast in the restaurant. Half and full board is available. We also serve à la carte dishes.
