The beautiful house Belopeški Dvori used to be the residence of the counts of Bela Peč, who once collected taxes in this region. It was built around 1500.The house nowadays offers 9 luxury apartments, all nicely furnished and with all comforts including cable TV and the necessary kitchen equipment. An especially cosy atmosphere is offered by the attic apartments. Lots of of wood characterizes the whole building with exposed beams as an additional decorative element.

Podkoren is a charming village in the north west of Slovenia, right at the border to Italy and Austria, 800 metres above sea level. It is located between the Karavanke mountain range on the north side and the Julian Alps on the south side. If you turn east the next town is Kranjska Gora, just few kilometers away, and to the west Planica with the biggest ski-jump in the world, within walking distance.
